	Pha-Ngan Island also known as Kho Pha-Ngan in Thai is one of the large islands in the Suratthani province. The island’s area is approximately 191 square Kilometers. The island is directly north of Kho Samui,about
60-minute drive in terms of distance. Kho Pa-Ngan has numerous numbers of lovely beaches and bays. well-known is HaaD Rin (or Rin beach), which holds the Full-Moon Party every month. Other popular attractions include “Phang Waterfall” ,”Tham Sadet Waterfall”and “Wat Khao Tam”. which is a temple for meditations situated on top of the mountain.

Full Moon Party

One of the island's most attractive and well-known event is the "Full Moon Party"
More than ten years ago,a group of tourists found that the most beautiful moon was in Koh Pha-ngan. They arranged a party along the crescent-shaped beach of Had Rin to celebrate the Full Moon night. From then on, people from all over the world come to join the celeberation.
